At the time of death, a spirit can be very confused and not even be aware it’s body is dead, for example, if the death was sudden or unexpected. The spirit may not recognize the beings that are there to help it cross over. These spirits man wander and attach to a living human being. The host may not feel like themselves mentally or physically, and nothing seems to help them feel better. A compassionate de-possession guides the spirt to its destination and honors the sovereignty of both the human and the spirit.
